Preparations have been underway for starting the jigsaw puzzling of the salt-marsh vegetation onto the sand base constructed in the wave flume. Before the plants can be moved into the flume, their exact position within the flume had to be determined and each box labelled and lined up for their short journey.
Now that the first few pallets are waiting in an orderly queue for their turn to be placed, and the final touches have been put on the arrangements of the drag sensors in front of the vegetated test section (see below), the puzzle can begin….
